Stomach- Abs of Steel
We are all looking for rock-solid abs! At B Transformed each Group Fitness Class has elements of abdominal work. Everything from Ausercise to Tai Bo to Fit Ball works those abs! Your Group Fitness Instructor will use terms like ‘pull the tummy back’, ‘scoop’, ‘hold the tummy tight’, ‘switch the abs on’ – these are all instructions as to how to work the tummy even if you’re not on the floor doing crunches or sit ups!
By pulling the tummy in towards the spine and holding it in (remember to breathe!) throughout the class you should definitely feel it the next day! For a class to become aware of your core and how to ‘switch on’ those abs, Pilates is the class for you!
If you’re after a more fast paced ab workout try Ab Step for a class that’s half cardio and half abdominal work.
